KCIS Technology Program

In a world where technology is integral to daily life, KCIS ensures that students are prepared to navigate it confidently and responsibly. Through our Technology Program, students gain hands-on experience with a variety of multimedia tools and resources, allowing them to:

Arabic

Students will strengthen their reading and writing skills in Arabic. Emphasis on learning and understanding common Arabic words and phrases. Gaining insight into Arabic traditions and heritage to build a deeper connection to the language.

Art

Students explore and express their ideas through various artistic methods such as painting, crafting, and drawing. Emphasis on organizing workstations, managing tools, and efficiently completing projects. Art classes promote perseverance, confidence, and strong work ethics while enhancing aesthetic sensitivity. Encouragement to experiment with innovative techniques and materials for self-expression.

Dua's

Students learn essential Duas for daily activities such as waking up, eating, studying, and traveling. Recitation practice and engaging activities to ensure retention and understanding. A Dua book is provided to reinforce learning at home and in class.

English Language Arts (ELA)

Students build on their foundational literacy skills with activities like book reports, creative writing, and literary analysis. Emphasis on higher-order thinking skills through discussions, debates, and comprehension exercises. Access to a diverse and growing collection of books to foster a love for reading. Strengthening technical language skills with regular practice. Students gain confidence through presentations, storytelling, and classroom discussions.

Islamic Studies

Exploration of the Quran and Hadith to understand the principles of Islam. Topics such as patience, honesty, and kindness are emphasized to shape ethical individuals. Learning from prophetic lives and the lessons they offer for personal and communal growth. Topics include purification (Wudu, tayammum) and daily acts of worship.

Mathematics

Building on prior knowledge of basic mathematical concepts and introducing more advanced topics like algebra and geometry. Fractions, decimals, percentages, mixed numbers, and data analysis. Focused exercises on reasoning, estimation, and logical thinking. Demonstrating the importance of mathematics in everyday scenarios, such as financial literacy and measurement.

Physical Education (PE)

Promoting fitness and coordination through activities such as running, balancing, and team sports. Encouraging cooperation and respect for others during games. Refining motor skills and introducing new sports techniques. Emphasizing the importance of physical activity and overall well-being.

Qur’an

  1. Memorization & Tajweed: Weekly lessons focus on memorizing and reciting surahs with proper tajweed rules.
  2. Understanding: Exploring the meaning and context of the surahs to deepen spiritual knowledge.
  3. Professional Instruction: Taught by experienced teachers to ensure accurate recitation and comprehension.

Science

Engaging activities and experiments to foster a love for discovery. Covering topics like ecosystems, magnetism, and the solar system. Emphasis on observation, hypothesis formation, and data analysis. The introduction of a dedicated lab in Fall 2025 will enable students to deepen their understanding through practical experiments.

Social Studies

Learning about different communities, their lifestyles, and traditions within Bangladesh and across the world. Understanding the economic, geographic, and political systems shaping societies. Encouraging appreciation for cultural and social diversity through collaborative projects and discussions.

Islamic Values

Teaching students to incorporate Islamic principles into their daily lives. Emphasizing qualities like respect, humility, and gratitude. Real-life scenarios to help students practice Islamic values in their actions and decisions.
