We’re excited to announce the launch of our Grades 8–12 programs! Designed to inspire academic excellence and personal growth, these programs will prepare students for higher education and future careers. KCIS School offers a dynamic and diverse educational environment that’s designed to engage and excite high school students. You’ll experience a variety of learning styles, such as working in groups, participating in discussions, conducting guided inquiries, combining online and classroom learning, applying critical thinking, and engaging in hands-on activities. Engaging, diverse educational environment with advanced teaching methods. Device Program (Apple MacBook Air)

Digital Tools and Platforms

Students in Grades 9 and 10 receive Apple MacBook Airs for daily educational use. Tools for research, presentations, and software applications to enhance learning.Ensures students are proficient with modern technology for future academic and professional success.

Microsoft 365 Account

Students receive secure school-provided email accounts for communication and resource access. Tools include Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and more.

kcisNET

Digital platform for schedules, grades, assessments, and school events. Streamlines communication among students, teachers, and parents.

Crowdmark

Digital grading platform providing detailed, actionable feedback on assignments. Easy access to graded work and teacher comments.

Business Innovations (20S)

Grade 10 Curriculum Highlights

Focus on entrepreneurship, business planning, marketing, and innovation. Designed for students to explore opportunities and create ventures in their communities.

English Language Arts (20S)

Enhances reading, writing, and critical thinking skills through novels, poetry, short stories, plays, and media texts. Core outcomes include idea exploration, literary comprehension, managing information, and community building.

Islamic Studies

Currently in development.

Mathematics (10F)

Topics: algebra, exponents, radicals, trigonometry, geometry, measurement, and analytic geometry. Introduces functions, linear relations, and linear modeling.

Physical Education/Health Education (10F)

Key learning outcomes: movement, fitness, safety, personal/social management, and healthy lifestyles. Encourages active and healthy living.

Science (20F)

Topics: ecosystems, chemistry, motion (physics), and weather dynamics. Develops scientific inquiry, experimentation skills, and evidence-based decision-making. Balances human needs with environmental protection.

 

Social Studies - Bangladesh in the Contemporary World (10F)

Explores Bangladesh’s demographics, geography, political organization, and cultural diversity. Examines historical and contemporary challenges and opportunities within a global context. Focus on critical thinking, informed decision-making, and active citizenship.

 

Visual Arts (10S/20S)

Elective for creative expression through painting, drawing, sculpture, and collage. Includes sketchbooks, research projects, workshops, and art history exploration. Encourages personal expression and collaborative learning.
